Povzetek:
Sustainable IT ensures the long-term viability of the company. We explore why this fact still needs to be explained daily, especially when it comes to personnel and budgetary resources allocated for sustainability and specifically for Sustainable IT. Using the example of the energy utility KELAG-Kärntner Elektrizitäts-Aktiengesellschaft, it is shown how a sustainability strategy aligned with the corporate strategy, combined with active IT sustainability management, increases the company’s value. We demonstrate which actions for IT can lead to rapid success and which established IT sustainability indicators are particularly valuable for the Kelag Group, especially regarding critical infrastructure.

BIM modeli kot podpora k prediktivnemu vzdrževanju in tehničnim operacijam

Povzetek:
Razvoj informacijsko modeliranih objektov (BIM) v kombinaciji z naprednimi 3D GIS rešitvami, obogateno resničnostjo (AR) in digitalnimi dvojčki omogoča nov inovativen razširjen pristop k prediktivnemu vzdrževanju tehničnih sredstev in kritične infrastrukture. Skozi članek raziskujemo, kako načrtovan ali z LiDAR kamero posnet BIM model služi kot podpora za zbiranje, klasifikacijo, analizo in vizualizacijo podatkov, ki omogočajo podatkovno in vizualno podprto odločanje ter pravočasno ukrepanje pri procesih vzdrževanja. Ključni poudarek je na integraciji BIM modela s procesi prediktivnega vzdrževanja in izboljšanju razumevanja stanja pri vzdrževalnih procesih ob podpori 3D GIS tehnologij, prostorskih vizualizacij z realnimi podatki ter praktičnih primerih uporabe teh tehnologij.

Uvajanje BIM v elektroenergetiko – priložnosti, izzivi in praktični primeri

Povzetek:
BIM postaja pomemben del digitalne preobrazbe energetskega sektorja. Na podlagi izkušenj iz izvajanja projektov in prepoznanih prednosti njegove uporabe BIM pristopa je družba ELES odločila za sistematično uvedbo BIM v svoje procese načrtovanja, gradnje in upravljanja elektroenergetske infrastrukture. Prispevek bo predstavil BIM, njegove ključne prednosti ter pristop družbe ELES k njegovi sistematični uvedbi. Izpostavljeni bodo strategija, prepoznane priložnosti in izzivi ter praktični primeri in pilotni projekti, ki jih družba ELES skupaj s partnerji izvaja za zagotovitev uspešne implementacije BIM.

AI’s software development super powers, friend or foe?

In this talk I will use my own experience with developing an FAT documentation tool almost “overnight”, to reflect on the game changer that is AI powered coding. Are all layers of the software stack created equal to be “fed” to this new machinery? How much does the human “pilot’s” prior experience with software engineering matter when it comes to trusting this new and energetic “co-pilot”? To use the same metaphor: who’s Pilot Flying and Pilot Monitoring here? And will we fly small Cessna planes first, or take on a fully loaded Airbus 380? I hope to give you a good overview and take your questions on this fast-evolving landscape, right from the control tower!
